  • [18:44:02] <deadaim> I just powered my beagleboard and the keyboard is not working. The board is powered through a 5V DC supply. The keyboard I'm using is a Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro (it has USB and PS/2 connectors, I'm using the USB one). When the board boots up, the caps lock light does not function until half way, when it detects the keyboard. This means I can't stop "autoboot". Also, at the login prompt, I am not able to type anything. Am I do

  • [18:49:18] <woglinde> bb xm?

  • [18:53:32] <woglinde> you have a serial console
  • [18:53:32] <deadaim> I was under the impression that a keyboard would work

  • [20:10:04] <woglinde> yes here
  • [20:11:57] <suumas> i want to interface an arm process with a xilinx fpga. the arm process uses DDR2 memory and has DMA channels. when the fpga want sto make a DMA transfer, does the data go to the CPU, then the CPU copies to external memory, or does the fpga need it's own DDR2 controller?
