This project supplies a complete set of images (MLO, u-boot, uImage, rootfs) for running Gnome (currently beta 2.27).
It is too large for onboard NAND, you will need a 4GB or larger SD/microSD card for a satisfactory experience.
The image is built using OE, and as the recipes mature they will be submitted upstream to the org.openembedded.dev and Gumstix OE repositories.
