BeagleBoard.org and Seeed Studio have created modules based on Texas Instruments’ CC33 line of WiFi 6 companion ICs.

BeagleBoard.org BeagleMod BM3301-1313 (Seeed Studio SKU : 113991155, UPC : 640265311079) is already used in production on BeagleY-AI, suitable for evaluation and is available through world-wide distribution. BeagleMod BM3301-1313 is a 13×13 BGA module compatible in footprint to TI’s WL18xxMOD series for easy drop-in upgrades and cost reductions. This is a 2.4GHz WiFi 6 module and a dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz module, BeagleMod BM3351-1313, is currently in development.

BeagleBoard.org BeagleMod BM3301-1216 (Seeed Studio SKU : 113991154, UPC : 640265311086) is an M.2 1216 LGA module that includes a u.FL antenna connector to even further simplify board layout.

Both have been certified to meet FCC/CE intentional radiator emission requirements.
