What is BeagleBone® Servo Cape?

Providing servo outputs for many remote control, robotics and automation projects, BeagleBone® Servo Cape enables BeagleBone® to control up to 16 servos. A Servo is a rotary or linear actuator that allows for precise control of angular or linear position, velocity and acceleration. Inside is a motor coupled to a sensor for position feedback. Using the PCA9685, a 16 Channel 12-Bit PWM Servo Motor Driver, this cape enables the control of all servos by BeagleBone® over I2C with just two pins.
