Crank Storyboard� Suite provides software developers and UI designers with an environment to quickly develop their UI and then easily embed it on their embedded platform. Storyboard then utilizes the power of the embedded device using hardware layers, OpenVG, or OpenGL ES to optimize the performance. Storyboard enables companies to leverage one solution across multiple hardware platforms and operating systems that scale in size and performance. Storyboard Suite is composed of two parts: Storyboard Designer and Storyboard Embedded Engine. Designer provides a WYSIWYG development environment that is designed to enable a UI designer to create a rich user interface. Embedded Engine is the runtime component that drives the content developed in Designer on embedded devices. It is architected exclusively to address the unique challenges of bringing a rich UI and user experience (UX) to resource-constrained embedded devices.
