A parallel processing hardware platform based on TI OMAP35x
The project aims to build a supercomputing, parallel processing hardware platform, based on ultra low power consuming embedded processors, like ARM CORTEX A8, typically OMAP35x from TI. Initially it is planned to be in a tightly coupled, SMP, NUMA, homogeneous architecture. In future it could be changed into a heterogeneous architecture for including other processing platforms. The SMP backplane is planned to implement using FPGAs.
