Home Branch Circuit Power Meter
The project design is based on the Analog ADE7816 with 6 current channels and 1 voltage channel. The design also uses the Analog ADUM5404 and ADUM 1250 in order to provide power and communications isolation between the Beaglebone and cape.
This design is a proof of concept with the ambition is to scale the design up to 36-42 current channels in order to monitor mains power and every branch circuit in a home panel. The current design is however very capable for many power monitoring applications without any additional channels.
